How do I adjust the volume?

      hay guys,
      
      Just wondering of a setting in word were when you open
      mulitple word docos trhey open in the one word screen,
      yet on another they open in multiple(which is what i
      wont). Is there a setting i need to modify??

      im using windows xp...
      when i switch users the system reboots on its own...
      what can i do to prevent this?

      When I try to read my email all that comes up is a blank
      screen where the email should be. This happens for emails
      that I have already read also. Any ideas?

      Hi,
      I was wondering if there is a way to add tabs to windows explorer,
      either an option hidden somewhere or an
      application. I am not talking about internet explorer.

    - compatability PROBLEMS!!!
      Somebody please help, How hard could it be to make
      available a list of known compatability issues with XP?
      I'm ready to blow my top after doing search after search
      in Microsoft, Just to find out why my system is missing a
      vital file,( c:\windows\speech\speech.dll )so that I can
      get my AOL Point&Speak up and running.
      Help! How do I find it? Or where do I get it?

Start - Control panel - Sound. Select "Show volume control on taskbar."
Adjust with the speaker that's shown there (looks like a little grey ball,
actually.)

      just got a pop up box that said I had a run time error
      and wanted to know if I wanted to debug. It gave you a
      choice of yes or no. When I clicked on yes it did
      nothing. When I clicked on no the box went away. What is

    - how do i set a screensaver password???
      i've been really busy at work and college and i leave my
      pc on becuase i run a FTP. and my little brothers and
      sisters gets on my pc which i've gone lately. i wanna set
      a screensaver password atleast they wont know it and they
      wouldnt dare to turn it off, so i go to the screensaver
      page and i cant seem to find where to type in a password,
      why is this different from os 98? i dont use a password
      for my adm. account and if i make one can i still auto
      log on it? or will windows make a second adm. account
      becuase i know my first adm account will now be only
      access on safemode, i dont want this....please some must
      know how to get passed this

    - System32 screen pops up continuously when web accessed
      Every time I begin to access the internet, a System32
      window pops up saying "These files are hidden". If I X
      out of the window or tab over to my web application, the
      same system32 window pops up again. It continues to do
      this dozens of times over and over again. I have removed
      all advertising applications that I can find. Does
      anyone know what is causing this?

    - Novell Mappings
      My novell 4.ll mapping are not recognized when using
      Novel Client 4.90. It shows as available but does not
      function. I have to discinnect the mao and remap after
      each boot. Anybody have ides. I saw an explanation of
      this one time but now I can not find it.

      I need to create a new action for windows media files. I need to set up a "queue-it-up" default action for .wma files. When I double click on a file I would like the file to be added to the media player queue rather than interrupt the current song.

      Did anybody try to search in a web page on WinXP SP2RC1 IE
      If I press ctrl+f I get a window with HTML code. I also get the same windows if I press Help => about or Edit => Find in IE
      Is it a bug? How do I search in a web page
