    - How can I enable user to modify routing table?
      Dear all,
      
      I'm the system admin. Our company is using a TCP/IP network with two
      routers. One is connected to the Internet while another is connected to
      another company for a designated application.
      
      The problem is met with the "route add" process...
      
      The route add process is done with login script but ,as normal user don't
      has permission to modify the routing table, it show me something like
      "network access error..." when route add. Of course, it don't occurs with
      administrator right.
      
      Please all experts! How can I make the normal user to perform "route add"
      without problem?

    - DVD-RW drive not recognizing DVD media HELP!!!! any MS MVPs out there???
      Dito, it worked a few months ago but then it would not burn DVDs it will not recognize RW+R and did not find dvd-R until today. Ist the storage support said it was bad media until I told them I was using sony media. 2ndly the drive check software I downloaded from sony storage supports hangs up a lot
      
      1)Next they had me change the unit to Master on IDE channel 2 on its own lonly ribon. restart
      2)Then they had me remove any buring software, and the MyDVD and record now have such a problem being remove they have special instructions from deleting files to removing items from your registry, That was 8 programs INC nero 5.5
      3)They had me remove checks from use this drive to burn cd.s in advance setting of the drives properties in the device manager
      4) update the firmware from their sit
      5)go to the Ide ATA atap device in the manager and advance tab to change devices from Dma if avail to pi
      6) They sent me alink to update ascpi driver 471.2 from adaptecs site
      7) the had me reinstall just the record now program and it did try to recognize and burn a DVD-R but failed it still will not reccog nize blank DVD +RW media (please insertr blank disk
      8) lastly they had me update may Motherboard bios
      9) I am waiting on the XP service pack CD to come and then it still does not work I get to call back provided it happen in the 2 week period of support that I paid $20 for because technicaly my warranty ran out 2 month ago. even though I intsalled the unilt a month after I bought it and these problems stared about 3 months ago. I thought since it worked before that it was a software update issuse and not possiblly a defective unit. They tell me there is no repair for out of warranty, meaning it might be trash. If any ofd these help someone let me know or if you find a solution

      Hi, on my old ibm pc with win 98, you could do a search
      and then go to a spot where you could find all the gifs
      and jpegs that were on your computer from all the
      websites you visited and then either keep or delete
      them. I now have a Dell inspiron laptop with Windows XP,
      where can I find the info about the gifs and jpegs on my
      computer.

      How can I find out waht is still running? It seems its still installing something that has not finished

      I have three profiles setup in my Windows XP system. I
      am unable to log into any site requiring secure
      authentication or HTTPS sites from two profiles but I can
      from one profile. I am using IE 6.0 and I wasn't sure if
      this was a IE 6.0 issue or Windows XP.

    - Windows to remember previous settings?
      I hope my subject line is understood as I intended.
      
      What I mean to say is that when I open IE or explorer etc. the newly opened
      window doesn't fill up the whole screen, I have to "expand" or "enlarge" the
      window manually. Then if I close the window and re-open it the window is
      "minimized" again. How can I get closed windows to remember their last size
      and open up to this way [full screen]?
      
      FWIW I have tweak UI installed.
      
      Any help appreciated.

    - Viewing error reporting data
      I am running Power Director 3. It hangs up and the Error Reporting pop-up comes up and asks if I want to send the error. Is there a log file that has all that error info so I can also send that to the company whose program is crashing?

    - Delete 1 user acoount
      My daughter has 2 user accounts. 1 is Administrator and the other is her
      Name.
      She wants to delete the second one, but she and I looked in the Control
      panel under User, and many others and see none that DELETES this second
      user. How is it done?
      
      Also, when she starts up she sees the name (2nd one, not administrator)
      and she has to click that on to get to the desktop. On my own computer I
      do not get that and it gets me to the desktop immediately. What does she
      have to do to also by pass this?
