Windows Size Not Maintained After Closing Then Opening Explorer

Anyone know how to make XP remember the size of a window when you close it
and open it again later, even after a reboot. I know how to size it by
stretching it but after a few openongs it reverts back to it's default size.
I even click status bar in the tool bar menu and it goes away after the
explore goes back to it's default. I just don't get it. It was ok before,
now this.
detail.

Thanks

Is the middle box (R.upper corner) in single or double,it needs to be in singl
mode, then strech each side to max.If in middle, usually youre graphics need attention
driver update etc.

After you stretch it to the size you want click File and then Close, next
time it should open to the stretched size. Works for me in OE, IE and
Windows Explorer.
